Student Support Services Annual Day of Service – 2019

This year, the Student Support Services program sponsored their Annual Day of Service at the Community Food Bank on March 15, 2019.

They were a small group but were told that they were one of the best performing groups they’ve seen by one of the Food Bank’s regular volunteers. They managed to put away almost 70 boxes of food and miscellaneous items in two hours!

 

REMINDER: Volunteers Still Needed for Oct. 16 College-Wide Open House

The Admissions Office still needs faculty and staff to volunteer for our Fall 2016 College-Wide Open House:

Mays Landing Campus — J-Building Lobby — Sunday, Oct., 16, 1-3 p.m.


Students will have the opportunity to speak with college faculty to learn about degree and career training programs, meet with staff to discuss the enrollment process and find out about college services and activities, as well as take a student- or staff-led tour of campus.

The Admissions Office greatly appreciates your participation in our college-wide open houses. We are grateful for the continued support of faculty and staff in our recruitment efforts and hope you will consider getting involved for this wonderful event!

Tour Guides Needed for New Student Days

Tour guides are needed for New Student Days at all three college campuses.

New Student Days are taking place:

  • 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Mays Landing Campus
  • 9 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8,  at the Atlantic City Campus
  • 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Cape May County Campus

Tours will be given approximately at 10:30 a.m. and should not run past noon.

Anyone interested should request permission from their supervisor, and contact Rahshana Davis at rdavis@altantic.edu to confirm.

Volunteers Still Needed to Encourage Enrollment

Greetings!

Over 400 calls have been made over the past couple of weeks to encourage students to register for fall term. There are still plenty of students to be called and with your assistance, we can reach out to many more students to get them enrolled for the start of this coming term.

Volunteers Needed to Encourage Enrollment

A message from Enrollment Management:

Happy Summer Atlantic Cape staff,

Our 50th anniversary is upon us this coming academic year. Also upon us, is another opportunity for you to assist with encouraging students to register and enroll for the fall term.

Many students who took classes with us this past spring term have yet to register for the fall term. With your help in calling these students, hopefully we can get many of them to return for the start of this coming term on Aug. 29.  Continue reading

Volunteers Needed for Atlantic Cape Booth at Hometown Celebration June 25-26

Volunteers are needed to represent the college and staff Atlantic Cape’s booth at the Hamilton Township Hometown Celebration at Lake Lenape, Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26.

Staff and faculty can sign up to volunteer any time from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. either day.
