Time is Running Out to Earn College Credit This Summer at Atlantic Cape

Time is running out to register for summer classes at Atlantic Cape Community College. The final six-week summer session runs July 10-Aug. 17. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree this summer.

A variety of credit courses beginning Monday, July 10, include: Introduction to Computers, Public Speaking, U.S. History II, Composition II, Criminal Law, General Chemistry II, Human Anatomy Physiology II, Introduction to Algebra II, Precalculus, General Psychology, Principles of Sociology, Elementary Spanish II and many more. Classes are forming now for Atlantic Cape Community College’s Summer Sessions Two and Three at its Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House. Registration hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Courses include:

Summer Session Two, June 26-Aug. 17: Comprehensive Medical Terminology.

Summer Session Three, July 10-Aug. 17: Human Anatomy Physiology II, Criminal Law, Composition II, U.S. History II, General Psychology and Principles of Sociology.

Additional classes are available online and at Atlantic Cape’s campuses in Mays Landing and Atlantic City.

Earn Credits Online This Summer at Atlantic Cape

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer more than 100 classes online this summer to accommodate a range of schedules and lifestyles. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree in just a few weeks.

In-person registration hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit www.atlantic.edu/summer to view summer and fall class schedules and to register online.

Some courses offered during the first six-week session, May 22-June 29, include:

Financial Accounting, Art Appreciation, Business Ethics, Composition I, Creative Writing I, Earth Science, College Algebra and Principles of Sociology.

During the second session, which is eight weeks, June 26-Aug. 17, classes include: Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Computers, Juvenile Justice, Western World II, Calculus I, Child Psychology, World Religions and Technical Communication.

Course offered during the six-week third session, July 10-Aug. 17, include: Managerial Accounting, The Human Body, Fundamentals of Nutrition, Introduction to Literature, Applications of Mathematics, Business Law I and Concepts of Physical Fitness.

It is recommended students taking online courses possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
