Gala 50/50 Raffle Tickets Available for Purchase

Time is running out to be one of three lucky winners who will share up to $15,000 in the 2018 Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala 50/50 Raffle. The raffle is sponsored by the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation and will provide emergency funds for students with unforeseen financial needs.

Only 300 tickets will be sold at $100 each. Three cash prizes will be awarded, including $9,000, first prize; $4,500, second prize; and $1,500, third prize. Dollar amounts are based on all 300 tickets being sold. The winning tickets will be drawn at the March 28 Restaurant Gala at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.

Winners do not need to be present to win.

Departments can also go in on a ticket purchase and split the winnings!

Now in its 35th year, the Restaurant Gala has raised $3 million in student scholarships. This year’s gala theme is “Culinary Magic,” showcasing the extraordinary talent and cooking expertise of the students and alumni of the Academy of Culinary Arts.

Winners Announced for 50/50 Restaurant Gala Raffle

Lucky ticket-holders shared $10,750 in prizes at this year’s Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala 50/50 Raffle held March 24, at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.

The winners include:

First Prize, $6,450, Nicholas Cassano of Egg Harbor Township

Second Prize, $3,225, Joe DelVescio of Ocean View

Third Prize, $1,075, Richard T. Gerber of Northfield

Winning amounts were based on the number of tickets sold. This year, 215 raffle tickets were sold at $100 each, raising $10,750 for grants, emergency aid and leadership development for Atlantic Cape students.

In its history, the Gala has raised $3 million for scholarships and Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation operations.
