CMCC Nonprofit Resource Center to Offer Free Training to Staff on March 23

The Nonprofit Resource Center, an initiative of the Cape May County Campus Library, invites faculty, adjuncts and college staff to free grant seeking training from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, in the Cape May County Campus library.

Via an interactive workshop, attendants will learn how to use the Funding Information Network databases to identify potential grant funders for priority projects at the college. An orientation to grant seeking at Atlantic Cape will also be provided.

RSVPs are required. Please email fin@atlantic.edu to reserve your spot in this valuable training.

Staff members planning to attend should please have their participation approved by supervisors as necessary.

Atlantic Cape Community College held a grand opening for its Nonprofit Resource Center at its Cape May County Campus on Friday, Dec. 1. The center, located in the Mullock Family Library, is sponsored by the Mullock Family and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

The grand opening offered an introduction to the Funding Information Network, a fundraising information and grant research hub offering free access to the most comprehensive online tools and resources. The Funding Information Network is operated by the Foundation Center, the world’s leading source of information on philanthropy, fundraising and grant programs. Databases available through the Funding Information Network are “Foundation Grants Online,” which can be used by nonprofits to find grant opportunities, and “Foundation Grants to Individuals Online,” which includes scholarship information for students. Atlantic Cape Community College’s Cape May County Campus will host a grand opening of the Nonprofit Resource Center at 2 p.m. on Dec. 1.

The Nonprofit Resource Center is located in the Mullock Family Library of the Cape May County Campus, and is sponsored by the Mullock Family and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
