Eight-Week Affordable Online Semester Begins Oct. 29 at Atlantic Cape Community College

Atlantic Cape Community College’s second “late-start” online semester begins Oct. 29 for students who want to add a class to their schedule or anyone interested in continuing their education with the convenience of not having to leave home. Atlantic Cape was recently ranked a Best Online Community College in New Jersey, and a Top Online Community College in 2015 and 2016.

Classes include: Bioethics/New Millennium, Introduction to Computers, Interpersonal Communication, Composition I, Composition II, Introduction to Literature, Western World II, Statistical Methods, Music Appreciation, Introduction to Ethics, General Psychology, Human Development, Principles of Sociology, Elementary Spanish II and Introduction to Theater. Classes include: ALHT110-Comprehensive Medical Terminology, online; ARTS103-Art Appreciation, meets 5-8:50 p.m., Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ARTS-128-Introduction to Photographic Methods, online; CISM125-Introduction to Computers, meets 2-5:20 p.m., Mondays, Atlantic City Campus; CISM125-Introduction to Computers, meets 7-8:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ENGL080-Reading/Writing II, meets 5-6:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ENGL101-Composition I, meets 5-6:50 p.m., Tuesdays/Thursdays, Mays Landing Campus; HIST102-Western World II, meets 7-8:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; MATH073-Introduction to Algebra I-Prealgebra, online; PSYC135­–Child Psychology, online; and SOCL101-Principles of Sociology, online. Add a Fall Class at One of Atlantic Cape’s Three Campuses

Current students can add classes to their fall schedules starting Sept 5, at any Atlantic Cape Community College location: the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.

Add a class takes place at all three campuses, Sept. 4-10, during normal office hours, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and online until Sept. 10.

The college accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, checks and money order. Payment is due at the time of registration. Careme’s Restaurant to Open for Lunch for Fall Semester Sept. 4; Farm-to-Table Cuisine Featured

three small glasses in restaurantCareme’s, the student-run, gourmet restaurant at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts, will reopen for lunch on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The restaurant will offer a two-course sandwich selection for $9.95, and a two-course entrée selection for $12.95.

For groups, the restaurant will offer a three-course and four-course menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, prepared and served with care and attention to detail. The luncheon three-course menu for groups is priced at $16.95 per person, and the four-course is $18.95 per person, plus tax and a service charge, which helps provide scholarships for academy students. Last Chance to Register; Fall Classes Begin Sept. 4 at Atlantic Cape

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of courses this fall that are part of the Aviation Studies Associate in Science degree with the options of becoming a professional pilot or professional helicopter pilot.

Courses include Experiential Flight, Simulated Flight, Aeronautical Knowledge, National Airspace System, Intro/Unmanned Aircraft System, UAS Operation-Multi-Rotor, Private Pilot Helicopter, Remote Sensing Using UAS, Private Pilot, Instrumental Pilot, Instrumental Pilot Helicopter, Commercial Pilot Helicopter, Airplane Flight Instructor, Commercial Pilot, Helicopter Flight Instructor and Multi-Engine Pilot.
