Affordable Online Semesters Run for Just Eight Weeks Beginning Sept. 4, Oct. 29 at Atlantic Cape Community College

male student reading book working on laptopAtlantic Cape Community College will offer online semesters beginning Sept. 4 for students who want to add a class to their schedule or anyone interested in continuing their education with the convenience of not having to leave home. A second eight-week online session is offered Oct. 29. Atlantic Cape was recently ranked a Best Online Community College in New Jersey, and a Top Online Community College in 2015 and 2016.

Classes include: Introduction to Computers, Composition II, Elementary Spanish I, Elementary Spanish II and Statistical Methods. The classes run for just eight weeks and only cost $163 per credit. Continue reading

Atlantic Cape Community College Earns Ranking as a ‘Best Online Community College’ in New Jersey

Factors such as admissions, student loan default, retention and graduation rates, as well as students enrolled in online courses determined the ranking. Atlantic Cape currently offers the following 15 degree programs entirely online: Business Administration, Child Development/Child Care Option, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Criminal Justice, Database Design and Development, Elementary/Middle School Education Option, English, General Studies, Office Systems Technology, Preschool–Grade 3 Education Option, Psychology, Secondary Education Option and Social Science. Time is Running Out to Register for Fall Classes at Atlantic Cape; Extended Hours Offered Aug. 15 at all Three Campuses

Students can also register online at www.atlantic.edu/fall or in person, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at any of the college’s three locations: Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. The college is closed on Fridays through Aug. 17. Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of courses this fall that are part of the Aviation Studies Associate in Science degree with the options of becoming a professional pilot or professional helicopter pilot.

Courses include Experiential Flight, Simulated Flight, Aeronautical Knowledge, National Airspace System, Intro/Unmanned Aircraft System, UAS Operation-Multi-Rotor, Private Pilot Helicopter, Remote Sensing Using UAS, Private Pilot, Instrumental Pilot, Instrumental Pilot Helicopter, Commercial Pilot Helicopter, Airplane Flight Instructor, Commercial Pilot, Helicopter Flight Instructor and Multi-Engine Pilot. Atlantic Cape Community College will offer more than 100 courses online this fall as an option for those unable to attend classes in a traditional setting. The college offers 15 associate degree programs entirely online, as well as credits toward any of the college’s 46 degree programs. Fall classes begin Sept. 4.
