Late-start Classes Begin Sept. 25 at Atlantic Cape Community College

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer “late-start” classes beginning Sept. 25 for students who want to add a class to their schedule or anyone interested in continuing their education.

Classes include: ALHT-110-Comprehensive Medical Terminology, online; ARTS103-Art Appreciation, meets 5-8:50 p.m., Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ARTS-128-Introduction to Photographic Methods, online; BUSN101-Introduction to Business, online; BUSN202-Principles of Marketing, online; BUSN222-Introduction to Management, online; CISM125-Introduction to Computers, meets 7-8:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ENGL080-Reading/Writing II, meets 5-6:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; ENGL101-Composition I, meets 5-6:50 or 6-7:50 p.m., Tuesdays/Thursdays, Mays Landing Campus; HIST102-Western World II, meets 7-8:50 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays, Mays Landing Campus; MATH073-Introduction to Algebra I-Prealgebra, online; MATH074-Introduction to Algebra II, online; and SOCL101-Principles of Sociology, online. Reminder: Volunteers STILL needed Sept. 5-9 to Welcome and Direct Students at Mays Landing Campus

Reminder- Volunteers are still needed at three “Welcome Tables” to help our new students feel comfortable and prepared at the Mays Landing Campus the first week of classes.

Add a Fall Class at One of Atlantic Cape’s Three Campuses

Students can add classes to their fall schedules starting Sept 5, at any Atlantic Cape Community College location: the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.

Add a class takes place at all three campuses, Sept. 5-11, during normal office hours, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and online until Sept. 11.

The following departments will be open late from 9 a.m.- 6:30 p.m., Sept. 5-7 and Sept. 11, at all three campuses: Admissions, Advisement, Counseling, Testing, Business Office and Enrollment Services, as well as Financial Aid offices.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Payment is due at the time of registration. To register online or view an updated schedule of fall courses, visit www.atlantic.edu/fall. Careme’s Restaurant to Open for Lunch for Fall Semester; Farm-to-Table Cuisine Featured

Careme’s, the student-run, gourmet restaurant at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts, will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The restaurant will offer an a la carte lunch menu with items including Tomato Escarole Soup with White Beans, a Chef’s Soup of the Day, Tossed Garden Salad, Baby Spinach and Mushroom Salad, Roasted Chicken Shepherd’s Pie, Steak Frites, Roasted Tomato Macaroni and Cheese, Southern Fried Chicken Sliders, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Grilled Eggplant and Roasted Pepper Sandwich, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Raisin Crisp and Chocolate Crème Brulee. Affordable Online Semesters Run for Just Eight Weeks Beginning Sept. 5, Oct. 30 at Atlantic Cape Community College

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer new online semesters beginning Sept. 5 for students who want to add a class to their schedule or anyone interested in continuing their education with the convenience of not having to leave home. A second eight-week online session is offered Oct. 30.

Classes include: Introduction to Business, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Computers, Composition I, Statistical Methods, Business Law I, Composition II, Microeconomics and Statistical Methods. If you’ve always loved to cook or are ready to make a career change, there is still time to register for fall 2017 classes at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. ACA classes will begin Monday, Aug. 28.

The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College recently was ranked the No. 1 culinary school in New Jersey by Best Choice Schools, and leads to 100 percent job placement.

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer more than 100 courses online this fall as an option for those unable to attend classes in a traditional setting. The college offers 13 associate degree programs entirely online, as well as credits toward any of the college’s 46 degree programs. Fall classes begin Sept. 5.
