Affordable Online Classes Run for Just Eight Weeks Beginning Oct. 24 at Atlantic Cape Community College

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer new “late-start” online classes beginning Oct. 24 for students who want to add a class to their schedule or anyone interested in continuing their education with the convenience of not having to leave home.

Classes include: General Psychology, English Composition I, English Composition II, Introduction to Business, Music Appreciation, Principles of Marketing, Statistical Methods and Introduction to Computers. The classes run for just eight weeks and only cost $149 per credit. Continue reading

Strudels is Open for Fall Semester

Strudels Bakeshop, located in M-Building across from Careme’s, is open for fall semester.

Hours are 12:15-1:45 p.m., Monday and Wednesday; and 12:30-3 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Five Vanilla Cakes with Lemon Filling are available for $5 each TODAY. Arrive before closing at 3 p.m.

Students can add classes to their fall schedules starting Aug. 29, at any Atlantic Cape Community College location: the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.

If you’ve always loved to cook or are ready to make a career change, it’s time to register for fall 2016 classes at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. ACA classes will begin Monday, Aug. 29.

Atlantic Cape Offers Courses in Paralegal Studies

If you are interested in pursuing careers, education and degrees in Paralegal Studies, Atlantic Cape Community College offers a Paralegal Studies Program that is American Bar Association-approved. The program is intended to train students to become paralegals, not to provide training for lawyers or legal administrators. Atlantic Cape offers two Paralegal Studies degrees, an Associate in Applied Science and an Associate in Science.

Courses being offered include: Intro to Law & Litigation (LEGL-110-ME0), Legal Research and Writing (LEGL-140-ME01), Trial Advocacy (LEGL-212-ME01), Family Law (LEGL-248-ME01), Torts/Personal Injury Ltg (LEGL-250-ME01), and Cooperative Education (LEGL-280-MD01). Continue reading
