Atlantic City Campus Welcomes Students in a Big Way

During Welcome Back Day at the Atlantic City Campus, the tallest Jenga creation almost reached the ceiling!

Worthington Atlantic City Campus welcomed back their students on Wednesday, Sept. 20, with a host of activities. Party King Entertainment Representative Ronnie brought popcorn and games, such as Connect Four, Checkers and Jenga. Ronnie stated, “Students from Worthington played Jenga to perfection.” The end result was the highest block building he has seen. There was also recruitment from the Cross Cultural Club by Zaki Mohyuddin and Performing Arts Club by Dave Capelli. Vita Stovall from Student Affairs gave every student free notebooks and pens. Worthington Campus also celebrated Constitution Day by giving out The US constitution booklet. Continue reading

Cross-Cultural Club Spring Easter Project

The Cross Cultural Club displays their Easter baskets for donation to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

In early April, members of the Cross-Cultural Club completed their spring project and assembled more than 40 Easter baskets for donation to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. The baskets were filled with candy, small toys, coloring books and erasable drawing boards. Shirley Shields and Michael Kammer, club advisers, assisted club members with this project.

Students at Worthington Atlantic City Campus Prepare Easter Baskets for Donation

Cross-Cultural Club students in Atlantic City with their completed baskets for donation.

On March 22, more than 20 members of the Cross-Cultural Club prepared a donation of 40 Easter baskets for the children of homeless families.  The baskets were delivered the same day to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, who will give the baskets to the children. The baskets, candies, coloring books and small toys were bought by the club, and members worked assembly-line fashion to complete the charitable project.
