A message from Kelly McClay, dean of the Academy of Culinary Arts:
Dear Colleagues,

A memorial gathering will be held for Chef Richert on Jan. 26, in Caremes Restaurant.

Starting at 5 p.m. we will have light refreshments, including plenty of sweets in George’s honor and at 6:30 p.m., we will have a brief ceremony.

Anyone wishing to speak or share a memorable story will be welcome to do so.  I know that many of his past students will only be able to join us in thought and prayer but all are welcome so please share this information with anyone you can think of.

Thank you and remember “The ingredients may change but the Technique remains the same”.
