Still Time to Register for Fall Classes at Atlantic Cape

Students can also register online at http://www.atlantic.edu/fall or in person, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at any of the college’s three locations: Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. The college is closed on Fridays through Aug. 17. Time is Running Out to Register for Atlantic Cape’s Second Summer Session

Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a variety of credit courses online and in person this summer to accommodate a range of lifestyles. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree during Atlantic Cape’s summer sessions. Choose from courses in art, aviation, business, communication, computers, English, math, science and more. The second session runs June 25-Aug. 16 and the in-person registration deadline is June 21. Students can still register online, by fax or mail through June 24.

Atlantic Cape’s Weekly Farmers Market Kicks Off on June 28 with American Idol Contestant Maddie Hogan

For the first time, Atlantic Cape Community College will host a farmers market from 2:30-6 p.m. on ten Thursdays, June 28-Aug. 30, at the college’s Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The weekly market aims to support local growers and businesses by bringing the community together to shop, talk, eat and cultivate new connections. Patrons will also enjoy live music from local musicians while they shop. Maddie Hogan, a contestant on the 2016 season of American Idol, will perform at the first market on June 28.

The market will host a wide array of local vendors including Air Plant Artistry, Busy Bees NJ, Kona Ice Cape May, Mermaid Mutineer, Rea’s Farm and Rosa de Oro Mexican Food Truck.

Vendors Wanted for Atlantic Cape’s Inaugural Farmers Market at the Cape May County Campus

Vendors are wanted for the inaugural Atlantic Cape Community College Farmers Market that will run from 2:30-6 p.m. on ten Thursdays, June 28-Aug. 30, at the college’s Cape May County Campus. The campus is located at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The weekly market aims to support local growers and businesses by bringing the community together to shop, talk, eat and cultivate new connections.

For the promotional season rate of $250, vendors will receive a 10’x10’ space at the market. To apply, submit a completed vendor application with your 50 percent deposit by May 31, 2018. Interested vendors can download a vendor application at http://www.atlantic.edu/capemay.

March 6, 5:30-7 p.m.: An open house will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 6 at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus. Attendants will learn about career training programs and degree options offered at the college, meet faculty, speak with college staff about the enrollment process and more. Atlantic Cape Unveils Nonprofit Resource Center at Cape May County Campus on Dec. 1

Atlantic Cape Community College held a grand opening for its Nonprofit Resource Center at its Cape May County Campus on Friday, Dec. 1. The center, located in the Mullock Family Library, is sponsored by the Mullock Family and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

The grand opening offered an introduction to the Funding Information Network, a fundraising information and grant research hub offering free access to the most comprehensive online tools and resources. The Funding Information Network is operated by the Foundation Center, the world’s leading source of information on philanthropy, fundraising and grant programs. Databases available through the Funding Information Network are “Foundation Grants Online,” which can be used by nonprofits to find grant opportunities, and “Foundation Grants to Individuals Online,” which includes scholarship information for students. The classes being offered run from Jan. 16-April 14, accommodating those with work schedules that reflect the summer tourism industry in Cape May County. Atlantic Cape Community College Invites Students to Hands-On FAFSA Sessions at Atlantic City and Cape May County Campuses

Atlantic Cape Community College invites students to attend a free hands-on FAFSA session for help completing a 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Sessions will be held at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., on the following dates in Lab 132:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 7, 12:30-2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 8, 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 13, 12:30-2 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 14, 5-6:30 p.m.
