Chairwoman Freeholder Amy Gatto, Vice Chairwoman Maureen Kern and the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized Atlantic Cape in honor of National Community College Month. They presented Dr. Gaba with proclamations from the Freeholders and County Executive Dennis Levinson which recognized the importance of our institution to the community and to the students we serve.
WorkAC, a new initiative between the Atlantic Cape Community College Workforce Development Department, the Atlantic County Workforce Development Board and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber have partnered in helping Atlantic County residents find employment.
The WorkAC office, located at the college’s Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., in Room W105 in the Caesars Entertainment Hospitality and Gaming Studies Wing, will be open until June 30. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are not necessary.
Job-seekers will team up with a WorkAC success coach, who will serve as a navigator and advocate to help people find meaningful work. The coach will connect participants to information, resources and the office’s employment specialist. All services are free. Continue reading

The gallery is located in a large space in the William Spangler Library at Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus.
