Still Time to Register for Fall Classes at Atlantic Cape

Students can also register online at www.atlantic.edu/fall or in person, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at any of the college’s three locations: Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. The college is closed on Fridays through Aug. 17. Time is running out to register for summer classes at Atlantic Cape Community College. The final six-week summer session runs July 9-Aug. 16. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree this summer.

A variety of credit courses beginning Monday, July 9, include: Introduction to College Chemistry, Composition II, Statistical Methods, General Psychology, U.S. History II, Microbiology, Public Speaking, Criminal Law, Elementary Spanish I and many more.

Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a variety of credit courses online and in person this summer to accommodate a range of lifestyles. Whether you’re a current student, recent high school graduate or attending a four-year college and home for the summer, you can earn credits toward your degree during Atlantic Cape’s summer sessions. Choose from courses in art, aviation, business, communication, computers, English, math, science and more. The second session runs June 25-Aug. 16 and the in-person registration deadline is June 21. Students can still register online, by fax or mail through June 24.

Atlantic Cape’s Weekly Farmers Market Kicks Off on June 28 with American Idol Contestant Maddie Hogan

For the first time, Atlantic Cape Community College will host a farmers market from 2:30-6 p.m. on ten Thursdays, June 28-Aug. 30, at the college’s Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The weekly market aims to support local growers and businesses by bringing the community together to shop, talk, eat and cultivate new connections. Patrons will also enjoy live music from local musicians while they shop. Maddie Hogan, a contestant on the 2016 season of American Idol, will perform at the first market on June 28.

The market will host a wide array of local vendors including Air Plant Artistry, Busy Bees NJ, Kona Ice Cape May, Mermaid Mutineer, Rea’s Farm and Rosa de Oro Mexican Food Truck.

Vendors Wanted for Atlantic Cape’s Inaugural Farmers Market at the Cape May County Campus

Vendors are wanted for the inaugural Atlantic Cape Community College Farmers Market that will run from 2:30-6 p.m. on ten Thursdays, June 28-Aug. 30, at the college’s Cape May County Campus. The campus is located at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The weekly market aims to support local growers and businesses by bringing the community together to shop, talk, eat and cultivate new connections.

For the promotional season rate of $250, vendors will receive a 10’x10’ space at the market. To apply, submit a completed vendor application with your 50 percent deposit by May 31, 2018. Interested vendors can download a vendor application at http://www.atlantic.edu/capemay.

These deadlines pertain to in-person and online courses for Atlantic Cape’s full session, May 21-Aug. 16; six-week session, May 21-June 28; and the 11-day accelerated session, May 21-June 7.
