May 1, 12:30-1:30 p.m.: The 7th Annual Writers’ Colloquium will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, in the Art Gallery (D building) of the Mays Landing Campus. Students receiving Communication Awards in creative writing and journalism, as well as select students in Honors Composition II and Honors Public Speaking, will be reading and discussing their work. May 9, 5:30-7 p.m.: Academy of Culinary Arts open house from 5:30-7 p.m. on May 9 in M Building of the Academy of Culinary Arts at the Mays Landing Campus. Register online at http://www.atlantic.edu/aca/visit.htm.
May 11, 2-3:30 p.m.: A closing reception for the “Faculty Selects 2018” art exhibit will be held from 2-3:30 p.m., May 11, at the gallery located in D Building of the Mays Landing Campus.
May 14, 11 a.m.: Academy of Culinary Arts will host its Awards Ceremony at 11 a.m. on May 14 in the Walter Edge Theater of the Mays Landing Campus.
May 15, 7 p.m.: The Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation presents the Scholarship Recognition Ceremony where scholarship recipients have a chance to meet their donors and fellow students who have been awarded scholarships at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at the Mays Landing Campus.
May 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.: The ALP Institute (Atlantic Cape’s Accelerated Learning Program) will be held from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at the college’s Mays Landing Campus. The event is open to guidance counselors and high school English teachers, and is free to attend. May 16, 5 p.m.: The Nurses Pinning Ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on May 16 at the Performing Arts Center located at 212 Bayberry Drive in Cape May Court House.
May 17, 11 a.m.: The 51st Atlantic Cape Community College Commencement will be held at 11 a.m. on May 17 by the archery field near Jonathan Pitney Hall of the Mays Landing Campus.
The Mays Landing Campus is located at 5100 Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing; the Cape May County Campus is located at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House; and the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus is located at 1535 Bacharach Blvd. in Atlantic City.
