The grand opening offered an introduction to the Funding Information Network, a fundraising information and grant research hub offering free access to the most comprehensive online tools and resources. The Funding Information Network is operated by the Foundation Center, the world’s leading source of information on philanthropy, fundraising and grant programs. Databases available through the Funding Information Network are “Foundation Grants Online,” which can be used by nonprofits to find grant opportunities, and “Foundation Grants to Individuals Online,” which includes scholarship information for students.

Event highlights included remarks from Dr. Barbara Gaba, president of Atlantic Cape; plaque presentations to both Dr. Gaba and Robert Mullock by Cape May County Freeholders Gerald Thornton and Jeffrey Pierson; remarks from Dr. Denise Coulter, dean of liberal studies and Janet Marler, associate dean of Academic Support Services, and concluded with a tour of the Nonprofit Resource Center.

The center will be open to the college community and the public during the regular library hours, 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Friday.
