The bi-annual Nursing Skills Expo, which is open to current Nursing Program students, was held on Aug. 23 and was well attended. The Expo held is conducted in the Nursing Skills and Simulation Lab and occurs between semesters to allow nursing students to brush-up on their previously learned nursing skills prior to entering the next semester.  Skills practiced by the students included blood transfusion, intravenous fluid therapy, indwelling urinary catheter insertion and removal, nasogastric tube insertions and medication administration.
