‘Healthy Cooking for the Home Chef’ Class with Chef Christina Martin Offered this Fall at Academy of Culinary Arts

areal shot of vegetables and cooking ingredientsA new cooking class, “Healthy Cooking for the Home Chef,” with Academy of Culinary Arts alumna Chef Christina Martin, who has worked in Philadelphia restaurants including Blackfish and Vedge, begins Oct. 2 at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.

This hands-on healthy cooking class is designed to help you nourish yourself and those you cook for, while learning practical skills in the kitchen to prepare healthy meals for your table, along with nutritional information and how to be an educated grocery shopper. Participants will also explore how to apply plant-based eating principles to everyday meals.

The class meets 6:30-8:30 p.m. for six Mondays, Oct. 2-Nov. 6, and will be held in Kitchen 2 of the Academy of Culinary Arts. Cost is $225.
