Baking and Pastry Workshops with Chef Marylou D’Angelo Offered at Academy of Culinary Arts Beginning in September

Then join Chef Marylou D’Angelo at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College for her baking and pastry workshop series, beginning in September, at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.

Bread Baking I will offer the hands-on experience of baking Vienna Bread, Savory Onion Focaccia and Black Olive Bread, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13. Cost is $65.

Bread Baking II explores how to roll, form and bake traditional Italian baguettes, Semolina loaves and individual Potato Rolls, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27. Cost is $65.

Wood-fired Oven/Artisan Breads is a two-day comprehensive workshop that will immerse you in the art of bread baking, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 15 and 16. Cost is $225.

During Sinful Chocolate Desserts, learn how to make rich Chocolate Decadence Torte, Chocolate Espresso Crème Brulee and Dark Chocolate Mousse served in Chocolate Tulip Cups, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18. Cost is $75.

Holiday Pies teaches the steps to make Apple Pie, Blueberry Crumb Pie and Lattice-top Cherry Pie from scratch, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8. Cost is $75.

Holiday Cookies I demonstrates how to prepare the dough for Vanilla Crescents, Linzer cookies and Gingerbread Men, as well as Royal Icing, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29. Cost is $65.

Learn how to bake Chocolate Crinkle-Top cookies, Almond Biscotti and Chocolate Florentine cookies during Holiday Cookies II, 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 6. Cost is $65.
