Atlantic Cape Community College will offer more than 100 courses online this fall as an option for those unable to attend classes in a traditional setting. The college offers 13 associate degree programs entirely online, as well as credits toward any of the college’s 46 degree programs. Fall classes begin Sept. 5.
Register online at http://www.atlantic.edu/fall or in person, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at any of the college’s three locations: Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
Some online options this fall are: Financial Accounting, Essentials of Culinary Nutrition, Graphic Design, Criminal Law, Composition I, Educational Psychology, Western World I, College Algebra and more.
Courses are accessible 24/7, so students can log on and work at their convenience.
Atlantic Cape was the first community college in New Jersey to offer a full degree program at a distance, to accommodate the 24-hour schedules of casino and tourism employees.
The degree programs that are available entirely online include: Business, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, Computer Systems Support, Database Design and Development, General Studies, History, Literature, Office Systems Technology, Psychology and Social Science.
Atlantic Cape was ranked a Top Online Community College in 2015 and 2016. Not only are these courses convenient by offering anytime anyplace learning, but they are also more affordable than those offered by other colleges, with tuition of $154 per credit for online courses.
