Agencies/Programs Needed To Aid in Student Hunger Issue

A message from the co-chairs of SSXFC, Dr. Mitchell Levy, vice president of Student Affairs; and Dr. Denise Coulter, interim dean of Liberal Studies:

“Colleagues, many of us are disturbed by the number of students we speak with whom are hungry or concerned about finding their next meal – Food Anxiety (new term in Student Affairs literature).

To address this issue, the Student Success Cross-Functional Committee (SSXFC) would like to develop a listing of community agencies, programs, food kitchens, etc. that we would be able post on the college’s website as a resource for students and the community.

If you are aware of any such agencies/programs, please forward the information to (Mitchell) mlevy@atlantic.edu with cc: (Aline) amilliga@atlantic.edu.
