Atlantic Cape to Offer Second-Level English as a Second Language Course

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer College Pathways: ESL II, a second-level course for students whose native language is not English, beginning March 20, at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.

This course emphasizes the continued practice of basic sounds, sentence patterns and structures. Students also will focus on increased vocabulary, coherence and fluency in writing and speaking. In addition, the course covers grammar, ways to communicate in different situations and American culture.

The 96-hour course meets 9 a.m.- noon, Monday-Thursday, March 20 – May 11. The cost is $399. For more information or to register, visit or call (609) 343-5655.
