Atlantic Cape Community College Invites the Public to a Singer-Songwriter Supper

Atlantic Cape Community College invites the public to attend an evening with singer-songwriter Patty Blee on Thursday, Feb. 16, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at its Cape May County Campus, located at 341 Court House – South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House.

The evening will begin with a buffet dinner featuring hot and cold appetizers, a garden salad, pasta primavera and assorted desserts. Beverages will include coffee, tea and bottled water. Following dessert, Blee will give a 45-minute performance of original work and popular classics. Her husky voice, confessional songs and roots sound have led to comparisons to such luminaries as Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams. Following the performance, Blee will sell and sign her work.

Tickets are $35 and reservations are required. To reserve a seat, call 609-343-4907 or email simmons@atlantic.edu. Please note if you would like to be seated with another party.

This is one in a series of events, during the 2016-2017 school year, commemorating the college’s 50th anniversary of creating opportunity for Atlantic and Cape May County residents. The college has grown to include three campuses located in Mays Landing at 5100 Black Horse Pike; Atlantic City at the Charles D. Worthington Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and Cape May Court House.

The college currently offers 46 associate degree programs, certificates, professional and career training programs that students may pursue at any of its three campuses. The college also offers 11 online degree programs. For more details, visit atlantic.edu.
