Atlantic Cape Community College invites students to attend a free hands-on FAFSA session for help completing a 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Sessions will be held at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Feb. 15, 5-6:30 p.m., in Room 132
- Tuesday, Feb. 21, 12:30-2 p.m., in Room 105
- Wednesday, March 22, 12:30-2 p.m., in Room 132
- Thursday, March 23, 5-6:30 p.m., in Room 132
Financial aid specialists will provide information, answer questions and help students complete a 2017-2018 online FAFSA form. Students must bring their own and their parents’ 2015 tax returns, all W-2 forms and all Social Security numbers. Students must also bring their FSA ID and password and a photo ID (student ID or a state-issued ID.)
Registration is required, and students may register and obtain more information by calling 609-343-4822 or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Students may also register in person at any Atlantic Cape Financial Aid office on the Mays Landing, Cape May Court House or Atlantic City campus.
The U.S. Department of Education awards about $150 billion each year in grants, work-study funds, and low-interest loans to more than 15 million students. Federal student aid covers such expenses as tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and transportation. Aid may also help pay for such related expenses as a computer and dependent care.
Atlantic Cape Community College is celebrating 50 years of creating opportunity for residents of Atlantic and Cape May counties. The college currently offers 46 associate degree programs, certificates, professional and career training programs that students may pursue at the Mays Landing, Atlantic City or Cape May Court House campuses.
