Atlantic Cape’s Art Gallery Features ‘New Jersey Pinelands’ Exhibit Through Nov. 23; Second ‘New Jersey Pinelands’ Lecture Being Held Nov. 15

Atlantic Cape Community College’s Art Gallery is featuring an exhibit, “New Jersey Pinelands,” through Nov. 23, at the gallery, located inside the William Spangler Library, D-Building, of Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.

The exhibit features works by Bill Benton, Meed Barnett, Albert Horner, Jason Howell, Kathy English, Barbara Maxwell and Colleen Cornell.

Due to popular demand, fine-art photographer Albert Horner of Medford Lakes will repeat “Pinelands: New Jersey’s Suburban Wilderness” lecture, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the gallery. A Pinelands Preservation Alliance board member, Horner uses his art to advocate on behalf of the ecologically important region, giving presentations and exhibiting his images.

Gallery hours are: 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9:30-4 p.m., Friday; and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday.

The gallery hosts monthly exhibits of a wide variety of works including drawings, paintings, printmaking, computer arts, ceramics, sculpture, photography, mixed media, 2-D design and crafts. Showcased artists will be students, faculty and local artisans.
