Sponsored by The Spangler Libraries and She Speaks, the college will live-stream the 2016 TED Women Conference on Thursday, Oct. 27, beginning at 11:30 a.m., in J202 at the Mays Landing Campus.
Students, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to drop in as their schedules permit. All talks are 18 minutes or less. Bring your class, bring your friends!
The theme for TED Women 2016 is: “It’s about time.”
“Time is personal. We all have the same amount of time — 24 hours a day and yet most of us feel we never have enough. Even with today’s latest inventions, technology, science, we can’t make time or stop time — or can we?”
Schedule of sessions:
Session 1: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Session 2: 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Session 3: 5:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
