Greetings from the Worthington Atlantic City Campus–Sept. 16, 2016

Welcome Back Day

WACC welcomed back their students Sept. 13, with a host of activities. Party King Entertainment reps Dana and Ronnie brought popcorn, cotton candy and games, Connect Four and Jenga. Source Teachers with Jasmine Young-Paulhill recruited students that were interested in becoming a substitute teacher. As we enter into a crucial election for our next president, Joanna from the Superintendent of Election in Atlantic County encouraged students to register to vote, the Cross Cultural Club had club recruitment sign-ups and Student Services provided informational flyers with career programs and workshops students can attend this fall semester in the Career Center. Constitution Day is Friday, Sept. 16, and to recognize the day, pocket constitutions were handed out to students.

A gigantic “Thank You” to ACCCEA for the Philly soft pretzels; SGA for the water bottles and book bags with a notebook and pen; Cynthia Correa, director of Worthington Atlantic City Campus student services and campus management; and work-study students, Lakeisha Ayo and Arabia Crawford; and Vita Stovall, specialist, student services, and adjunct professor of social sciences.
