The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College “Savory Sundays” cooking demonstration highlights how to incorporate super foods into your salad for texture and added energy, Sunday, July 17, at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.
Academy of Culinary Arts alumna Brianna Manning, chef of Kitchen 19 in Hammonton, along with ACA students, will explore how to give salads a punch with several recipes.
The ACA will present three shows each month at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. in the first floor main court. Another demonstration is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21, which will explore appealing fruit and veggie smoothies to create a healthy breakfast or cool summer treat.
Attendants will have the opportunity to win free admission to one of the Academy of Culinary Arts continuing education workshops. Previous workshops have included baking artisan breads, pasta exploration and alternative grains.
The ACA has been training future chefs by nationally recognized chef educators for more than 30 years, and is accredited by the American Culinary Federation. For more information about the ACA, call 1-800-645‑CHEF, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.atlantic.edu/aca.
