Here’s The Scoop–April 8, 2016

A note from Wendy Gray, student services:

“The following schools will be on campus (check transfer webpage or events calendar for specifics): Wilmington, Drexel, FDU, University of Valley Forge, Centenary, Grand Canyon and new schools will be added. Should you receive an inquiry about Instant Decision Days or transfer visits, have students send me an email or leave a voice message (ext. 6786) or you can take the student’s information (name, phone number & SID). I will respond to them as soon as possible if I am away from my desk or off campus.

A second Stockton Instant Decision Day is scheduled for May 18 at the Cape May Court House Campus. The app fee is being waived. This date is specifically for students who have or will graduate by Summer 2016 and want to start at Stockton for Fall 2016. GPA must be over 2.5 and appointments are required (and take about 15-30 minutes). Stockton’s application due date was changed to Aug. 1, so students have time to apply for fall. Appointments will not be scheduled for nursing or other specialized programs.  BFA applicants can participate, but will have additional application requirements before being accepted to that degree program.

Additional information is posted on the Events Calendar & the Transfer Events webpage: http://www.atlantic.edu/admission/transferring-events.htm ,or search “transfer events” on atlantic.edu

On April 2, Public Safety and Security officers completed a one-day refresher course, American Red Cross Healthcare First Aid CPR AED, at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus. The officers that participated were Raymond Snow, Vince Chainey, Hank Cebulski, Ty Watson and Christian McDonal.
