The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College “Savory Sundays” cooking demonstration highlights unique spins on side dishes, Sunday, April 17, at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.
Academy of Culinary Arts alumna Brianna Manning, chef of Kitchen 19 in Hammonton, will demonstrate alternative side dishes, including Asparagus and Watermelon Radish Mint Slaw, Herbed Fava Bean Wontons, and Buckwheat, Kohlrabi and Beet Salad with Pea Sprouts and Herbed Crème Fraiche dressing.
The ACA will present three shows each month at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. in the first floor main court. Demonstrations are scheduled for Sundays, May 15, June 19, July 17 and Aug. 21.
On May 15, “Savory Sundays” will explore spring seasonal produce, including quick and easy tips for preparing whatever is growing in your garden.
