Atlantic Cape Community College President Peter. L. Mora threw out the first pitch as the men’s baseball team hosted Cumberland County College at Surf Stadium March 31.
The Buccaneers made Surf Stadium in Atlantic City its home for practices and games beginning in 2015.
Dr. Mora was joined by alumni from the 1968-69 Buccaneers baseball season for the first pitch. Alumni attending the game included: Co-Captain Stephen Nehmad, third base; Co-Captain Bobby Woods, pitcher/short stop; and Rick Williams, catcher.
The Bucs lost 19-8. The next home game is a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7, vs. Williamson Trade. Games are free and open to the public.
