New Honors Program Holds Spring Recognition Luncheon

Atlantic Cape initiated an Honors Program this spring as one of several Student Success Initiatives.

The Honors Program is designed for students who excel academically and want to work more intensely in a small class environment. Honors courses offer high-achieving students the opportunity to participate in engaging and creative learning environments that extend beyond those of the regular classroom.

Eighteen current Honors students attended a spring recognition luncheon March 22 at the Rutgers Degree Completion Center on the Mays Landing Campus and and heard from the Atlantic Cape Honors adviser Effie Russell about the expanding initiative and from Rutgers representatives about their programs.
