Beginning April 2, and during the week of April 4, the Holocaust Awareness Committee, in conjunction with Stockton University, Student Activities and the Student Government Association, will sponsor programs in observance of Holocaust Awareness. Activities include:
Saturday, April 2 SGA will sponsor a bus trip to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. Departure is 6:30 a.m., from the Mays Landing Campus. Cost $5. Open to students throughThursday, March 31, with current student ID. See Doug Mills in the Student Life Center to reserve a seat. ADA accommodations are available.
Monday, April 4 the Student Life Center will show a series of film shorts, National Days of Remembrance Holocaust Commemorations and Into the Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., in the Student Life Center.
Tuesday, April 5 Keynote Speaker & Auschwitz survivor Martin Greenfield will discuss his memoir, Measure of a Man, beginning at 12:30 p.m., in the Walter Edge Theater. A “Meet the Author Reception” will immediately follow.
Thursday, April 7 Re-dedication of the Holocaust Remembrance Monument, 11 a.m., in front of J-Building. Light refreshments will be served.
