Here’s The Scoop–March 4, 2016

Lydia Fecteau, adjunct instructor, will be presenting a TED talk, “Mutants and Cyborgs: Disability and Pop Culture,”5 p.m., March 22, at Stockton University. The talk will focus on connecting diversity of mind and body in pop culture to better understand what normal means.


A note from the Atlantic Cape Choir: 
The Atlantic Cape Choir has launched their 2nd Annual Graduate Song Dedication Poll!  Please visit the Voting Booth on the website for the Atlantic Cape Choir and cast your vote on a song to dedicate to the Atlantic Cape Community College Class of 2016! (The link is included below.)
We’re asking all students, staff and faculty to get involved.  The song chosen will be the final song performed at the choir’s Spring Showcase on May 5.  (Show times are 1 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.)
Voting closes March 11 and the results will be announced upon the students return from Spring Break on Monday, March 21.

Save The Date: Employee BBQ, Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help with the planning of the Employee BBQ. Please confirm with your supervisor that you can make the time commitment to this event-planning activity.

The planning committee will be led by Brittine Pratt and Cindy DeFalco with support from Jean McAlister and Eileen Curristine.

The first committee meeting will be held 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, in J-202 of the Mays Landing Campus, with teleconferencing to WACC and CMCC.
