2016 TED Talks Conference Live Stream – Atlantic City Campus

The TED Conference, the thought-provoking, multi-disciplinary discussion series, came to Atlantic Cape! The college live-streamed the 2016 TED Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at various times from 11:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m., in Room 204 at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus. The event was presented by the William Spangler Library. We had more than 75 students, staff and faculty, with a mix of ESL and English classes, attend the event.

The theme for TED 2016 was “dreams.” The conference featured presenters with a multitude of expertise. Talks ranged from the likes of disruptive technological entrepreneurs, such as the founders of Airbnb and Uber, to defenders of our cultural heritage, including cutting-edge archaeologists, paleontologists, astronomers and mathematicians.
