CRDA 2016 Pre Chef Grand Prix

First-place team “Osteria Del Worthington.” Dana Pleasant, Atlantic City; Shannon Hanselman, Somers Point; Elliot Krass, Longport; Alejandra Belfoure, Ventnor; and chef instructor Steven Cozzi.

Academy of Culinary Arts students competed in the 2016 Pre Chef Grand Prix, Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus.

Samples from the winning menu will be featured at “A Taste of Atlantic City Restaurant Week” preview event being held Feb. 25, at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. The winning students will be on hand to attend the charity event and soak up their newfound celebrity status.

Second-place team, “Always on Thyme.” Dylan Schaeffer, Buena; Briana Husak, Vineland; Halie Anderson, Mullica Hill; and Aliexis Scarfo, Merchantville.

Team Osteria Del Worthington placed first; Always on Thyme, second; and # Squad, third.


Third-place team “# Squad.” Matt Hennessey, Buena; Allen Davies, Riverside; Austin Lucas, New Gretna; and kneeling, John Martucci, Sicklerville.
