A note from Glenda Stogel, admissions:

“For 24 years, I have volunteered as adviser/committee chair for high school age youth members of the Medical Explorers Club at Shore Medical Center.  Students attend monthly meetings, visit with various medical professionals, go on field trips, do community service activities and conduct fundraisers.

This Sunday, Jan 17, a fundraiser to benefit the club, “Bagging for Charity,” will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the ShopRite in Somers Point. Medical Explorer members will help bag your groceries at the registers, giving you an opportunity to offer a donation. If you planned to shop this weekend, say hello to an Explorer and encourage them as they prepare toward dynamic health care careers.”
