Greetings from the Cape May County Campus–Jan. 15, 2016

By Lisa Apel-Gendron

Well, it’s time to welcome back our students and faculty and greet some new faculty members, as well. At CMCC, we’re pleased to welcome the following new adjunct faculty members: Marion Binder, Jessica Douglass and Tanya Usyk, math; Claribel Howarth, Spanish; Andrew Lewis, English; Rita Marcon and Ryan Reca, biology lab. Back from hiatus are Erin Hart-Morey, English, and John Beach, math. It’s great having you here, everyone, and please let us know how we can support your efforts!

Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch are back Jan. 19, with Madison’s Bakery and Food Service. Located in the dining room, first floor, Madison’s makes everything fresh each morning. Proprietors Carole and Joe welcome feedback from students and employees, so please stop by. The service is available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., when classes are in session.

We’re hearing good reports from retired history professor and adjunct Dr. George Dailey. George had a bit of bad luck last semester, but he is happily on the mend and feeling much better, and he thanks everyone for their cards, emails, calls and well wishes. In fact, we hope to see him at CMCC for a visit soon. We miss your witty commentary, George!

Instructors, don’t forget that librarian Natalie Tagge is stationed at CMCC, and she is poised to assist you and your students. She can even visit your class for hands-on information literacy or research sessions. Email her at ntagge@atlantic.edu to inquire about how the library can support teaching and learning.
Have a worry-free long weekend!
