The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College
“Savory Sundays” cooking demonstration highlights making festive beverages, Sunday, Dec. 13, in the food court area of the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.
Mays Landing resident Kelly McClay, dean of the Academy of Culinary Arts, along with culinary students, will demonstrate how festive beverages can be the final touch to celebrating the holiday season, including peppermint hot chocolate, non-alcoholic eggnog and cranberry freeze.
The ACA will present three shows each month at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. Demonstrations are scheduled for Sundays, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17 and Aug. 21.
On Jan. 17, “Savory Sundays” will focus on chocolate and how to wow your sweetheart with tempting chocolate treats just in time for Valentine’s Day.
