William Spangler Library Welcomes Natalie Tagge to CMCC

The William Spangler Library is delighted to announce that Natalie Tagge has joined our staff as a part-time librarian at the Cape May County Campus. Natalie is replacing Leslie Murtha, who has moved to the Mays Landing Campus upon the retirement of Ellen Burden Parker. Natalie will be teaching library instruction classes, and she is available to students, faculty and staff at CMCC for research assistance.

Natalie was most recently social sciences team leader and librarian at the Claremont Colleges Library (CCL) in Claremont, Calif. She graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in anthropology, and from the University of Illinois with a master’s in library science. She previously worked as the state virtual reference coordinator at the Illinois State Library, as a visiting assistant professor and instructional services librarian at the University of Illinois Springfield, and as an instruction librarian at CCL.

Before becoming a librarian, Natalie worked on a biodynamic farm in New York, and she taught high school as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Vermont. She has relocated with her family to South Jersey.
