Cross Cultural Club Halloween activities
Several Cross Cultural Club members took part in a hayride on Saturday, Oct. 24, as part of an introduction to traditional Halloween activities.
Stops along the corn maze gave students the opportunity to create a little “corny” humor.
Cross-Cultural Club members created traditional jack-o-lanterns on Tuesday, Oct. 27. For most of the club members, this familiar Halloween practice was a new experience. Students worked carefully to complete their carvings, while saving the pumpkin seeds to roast later for a snack.
Pumpkins were lit with battery-operated tea lights to simulate the traditional candle illumination.
Students pose with pumpkins for the final presentation, along with club advisers Michael Kammer and Shirley Shields.
