Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a series of graphic design and 3D animation workshops for individuals interested in learning the ins and outs of how to create and manipulate images.
Introduction to Digital Image Manipulation (GIMP) teaches participants the basics of Digital Image Manipulation using GIMP, 6-9 p.m., five Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 30. Cost is $179.
During Intermediate Course in Digital Image Manipulation, attendants learn the intricacies of GIMP and use more advanced techniques such as layer masks and filters, 6-9 p.m., five Wednesdays, beginning Nov. 11. Cost is $179.
Advanced Course in Digital Image Manipulation covers vectors, the clone tool, compositing images, creating textures and optimizing images for Web, 6-9 p.m., five Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 13. Cost is $179.
Introduction to 3D Modeling (Blender) introduces students to Blender, an open source 3D program that deals will the world of computer-generated 3D modeling, 6-9 p.m., five Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Oct. 6. Cost is $299.
During Intermediate Course on 3D Modeling (Blender), participants look at the process of surfacing, also known as texturing, to determine colors and textures of the models, deciding how each one will react within the scene, 6-9 p.m., five Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Nov. 17. Cost is $299.
Advanced Course for Animation Basics (Blender) shows students how to take the model they created and do a simple 1020 Second animation using Blender, 6-9 p.m., five Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Jan. 12. Cost is $299.
