Events Planned to Commemorate 9/11 Throughout the Week at All Campuses

Remembers September 11, 2001 copyAll campuses will host events throughout the week in remembrance of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the following activities:

Worthington Atlantic City Campus

Sept. 8-11—A collage of 9/11 photos by Nancy Porfido will be on display in the lobby and a table with information and a computer with access to will be available. Staff will speak to students about getting involved with the 9/11 Tribute Movement, and students can tweet their response to #Iwill and #atlanticcape. Cape May County Campus

11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9—The campus will host “A Tribute and Memorial to September 11” in the dining room. All are welcome to attend, share a poem, story or song. The event is sponsored by CMCC Student Services and SGA. For more information, contact Tammy DeFranco at ext. 8113 or

Mays Landing Campus

12:30-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10—​Join Student Activities and Student Government in the viewing of The History Channel’s “102 Minutes That Changed America” in the Student Life Center. Students, faculty​and staff are encouraged to drop by and view the entire movie or stay just for a few minutes. Counselors will be available before, during and after the program​.​ Light refreshments will be served.
