Academy of Culinary Arts Offers Noncredit Course on Beer this Fall

If you have a passion for beer, the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a 10-week introduction to beer literacy this fall. Beer Leadership will provide a wide background on the brewing industry and an overview of its unique specializations.

Some topics that will be covered include:

  • What Does Beer Mean Today?
  • The Flavor of Beer
  • Beer and Food
  • Cooking with Beer
  • The Question of Alcohol
  • How is Beer Made?

This course is offered through Atlantic Cape’s Continuing Education division. It will meet 6-8:50 p.m., 10 Mondays beginning Sept. 14, at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.

This is the first of a series of beer and microbrewing courses at the ACA.
