If you’ve always loved to cook or are ready to make a career change, it’s time to register for fall 2015 classes at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. Registration will be offered to new and returning students at all Atlantic Cape campuses, and online, based on the number of credits earned at the time of registration. Credits must have been completed, not be in progress. ACA classes will begin Monday, Aug. 24.
Registration hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours to 6:30 p.m., April 13-16 and April 20. April 17 registration hours end at 4:30 p.m. Registration begins:
- April 13 for students with at least 48 credits
- April 14 for students with at least 32 credits
- April 15 for students with at least 17 credits
- April 16 and 17 for returning students
- April 20 for all students (open registration)

The Academy offers two-year degree programs in culinary arts, baking and pastry, food service management, and specialization programs in hot foods, baking and pastry, food service management and catering.
ACA students have many opportunities to gain hands-on experience. Some activities include: Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala, Iron Student Chef Competition, American Culinary Federation’s Junior Chefs Competition, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs dinner, Atlantic Cape’s Organic Greenhouse, Strudels Bakeshop, Culinary Student Association, Baking & Pastry Club and food shows.
