Here’s the Scoop — March 2015

Robyn McCullough, admissions office assistant and Atlantic Cape Choir advisor, thanks Tammy DeFranco, director, CMCC student services and campus management, for all of her support with the choir’s Penny Drive Fundraiser and initiative to get students and staff to vote for a 2015 Graduation Dedication song.

After votes were tallied, the winning song for the Class of 2015 was “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey.


We regret to report the passing of retiree Gerri Black, former associate professor of English and Rewrites advisor. Gerri retired in 2013 after 20 years of dedicated and enthusiastic service to the college. Jennie Ayres, business services, is organizing a benefit in support of her daughter-in-law, Joyce, who is awaiting a kidney transplant and incurring medical expenses not covered by insurance.
