Culture Collective and Atlantic Cape Community College will celebrate Women’s History Month with a performance of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf, an award-winning play that travels through the journey of love and discovery.
The March 27 show begins at 7 p.m. in the Walter Edge Theater. Tickets are $15 general admission and $5 for students with a valid ID. Faculty and staff can buy tickets at the discounted rate of $10 with an Atlantic Cape ID at the time of purchase.

A powerful work called a “choreopoem,” For Colored Girls is a series of 20 poems by Ntozake Shange that tell stories of complications and sorrows, as well as joy and hope.
