The 2015 “Taste of the Gala” cooking demonstration and tasting featured 2015 Restaurant Gala culinary honoree and “Food Network Star” finalist Nicole Gaffney of Brigantine, preparing her signature dish, “Seared Scallops with Romesco and Crispy Prosciutto.” Academy of Culinary Arts student Sean Connors of Cape May, assisted in presenting the dish to over 60 attendants at the Taste, Tuesday, March 10, at Atlantic Cape’s Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing.

After the demonstration, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres prepared by ACA students, in anticipation of the 2015 Restaurant Gala.

The Gala has raised $3 million since 1984, with proceeds benefiting student scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations.
