The Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala’s 32nd annual dining extravaganza will feature original dishes from some of the region’s best restaurants. With the theme “Under the Sea,” the 2015 Gala will feature a coastal atmosphere and delectable dishes and desserts from a variety of restaurants at the March 26 event at Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.
The annual event celebrates food with mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres prepared by students at the Academy of Culinary Arts and the house specialties of area restaurants served at a progressive dining experience. An elegant dessert reception, co-headed by Executive Pastry Chef Deb Pellegrino of Caesars Entertainment and Chef Educator Michael D’Angelo of the Academy of Culinary Arts, will complete the night.
Participating restaurants include: Annata Wine Bar, Assaggio, Buddakan Atlantic City, Capriccio, Chart House, The Continental, Dock’s Oyster House, The Ebbitt Room, Fin, Gordon Ramsay’s Pub and Grill, Guy Fieri’s Chophouse, Grotto, Il Mulino New York, Il Verdi, Kelsey’s, Knife and Fork Inn, Lillie’s Asian Cuisine, Martorano’s, Mama Mia’s Ristorante & Catering, Morton’s Steakhouse, Nero’s, The Princeton and Roberta’s.
Also featured are: Scannicchio’s, Sheraton Atlantic City, The Smithville Inn, Sofia, Steve & Cookie’s by the Bay, The Washington Inn, Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse, and Yacht Club of Stone Harbor.
The Gala has raised $3 million since 1984 for scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations. The Gala begins at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 26.
