Basketball Players Gather for Reunion, Game

Nine coaches and women who played basketball for the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers in the late 1970s gathered Feb. 3 at the college for a reception and to watch current players on the court.

The women all played during the 1976-79 seasons under head coach Bill Poulson. At his urging to reconnect with the former athletes, the college’s athletics and alumni outreach departments arranged the event.
