Atlantic Cape Community College To Celebrate 32nd Annual Restaurant Gala March 26

The 32nd annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. The event will feature an “Under the Sea” theme and a decadent feast.

Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian will be honored at the 32nd Restaurant Gala, as well as Brigantine chef Nicole Gaffney, who attended the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape and recently vied for the title of the next “Food Network Star.”

The annual event celebrates food by highlighting hors d’oeuvres prepared by students in the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape and showcasing the specialties of 40 of the region’s best restaurants during a progressive dining experience.

Each year nearly 1,000 food enthusiasts attend the Gala, which also features several genres of live music, including Don’t Call Me Francis and The FM Band.

The event has raised $3 million for scholarships since 1984. All Gala proceeds benefit student scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations.

Gala Raffle Tickets Available

In addition, the winning Atlantic Cape Restaurant Gala 50/50 raffle tickets will be drawn at the March 26 event. Prizes include up to $9,000 first prize, $4,500 second prize and $1,500 third prize. Proceeds benefit student scholarships at Atlantic Cape.
