Certified Home Health Aide for CNAs is designed for the Certified Nurse Aide who wants to advance in the field, Nov. 19 & 20.
Certified Nurse Aide is a great way to start a career in the health care profession. CNAs will be eligible for employment in a long-term care facility, assisted living facility, adult medical day care or some hospitals. Classes begin Jan. 5.
Phlebotomy Technicians are skilled in blood collection techniques, handling, transporting and processing blood specimens. Hands-on training begins Feb. 16.
Learn the concepts behind electrocardiography and prepare for a career as an EKG technician in EKG/Telemetry Technician, beginning April 21.
Clinical workshops including CPR/AED/BLS for Health Care Professionals and Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid are offered monthly.
Lecture and lab modules will take place at the Health Professions Institute at Atlantic Cape’s Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd. Clinical expertise will come from various hospital settings.
